Showing Up When It Matters Most
Last week I was feeling a little under the weather, and it just so happened to fall on one of our drop-in days. The Westside Center is a place of safety, connection, and fun for our students, and we do our best to stay faithful to the commitments we’ve made to them.
Our volunteers are truly the heart of this ministry. Drop-in doesn’t happen without them. When I asked Jan and Chuck if they would open the Westside Center without me, they didn’t hesitate—they jumped right in.
Because of them, the Westside Center didn’t miss a beat. Throughout the day I was sent pictures of students playing games, eating food, and hanging out with friends. Even though I couldn’t be there, it was a reminder that this ministry is bigger than one person. It’s a community of people who care deeply about showing up for students.
Their willingness to step in made all the difference.
Empowering Middle & High School Youth Across Kitsap & North Mason Counties
At Campus Life, we walk alongside middle school and high school students right where they are. Through our free drop-in centers, we create safe, welcoming spaces for youth to connect with background-checked, trained mentors over games, snacks, tutoring, and life-changing conversations about faith and purpose. Whether through our regular school-year programs, summer camp, or seasonal events, we are dedicated to building authentic relationships across Kitsap and North Mason counties.
